Kos is a gorgeous island all year round, but during Christmastime, it becomes a vibrant place, unconditionally permeated with the magic of this favorite holiday! Kos Town is very colorful around Christmas. At the central square of the town, Eleftherias Square, there is a cheerfully decorated Christmas tree, an ice skating rink for some sliding fun, carousels, and other activities for kids, along with a bazaar selling all kinds of traditional Christmas crafts and treats of Kos.Every year, Kos municipality organizes a series of celebrations, events with fairy tales and plays, carol-singing, folklore dance performances, concerts, and, of course, a surprise encounter with Santa Claus.
